Welcome to St Nicholas of Myra, Penrith

St Nicholas of Myra Primary is a small Catholic learning community catering for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6 in the parish of Penrith.

At St Nicholas of Myra our five core values that underpin all that we do are Compassion, Cooperation, Responsibility, Respect and Justice. We believe that these gospel values are essential for our school to be an effective place of quality learning for each student.

Our teaching and learning environment is enhanced by our commitment to team teaching and team planning. At St Nicholas of Myra we believe that teaching and learning should be purposeful and fun, and enable children to make meaningful connections.

  • Pyjama Day for St Vincent de Paul

    Our school mission team organised a day where students wear their pyjamas to school and donate toiletries for the homeless.
  • Stage 3 Camp

    3/6/2016
    Stage 3 embarked on an overnight adventure to Teen Ranch. The students participated in canoeing, the giant swing, bushwalking, archery, the adventure challenge and spent the night in front of the campfire. A great experience for our school leaders.
  • Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Liturgy

    The St Nicholas school community gathered together to celebrate the feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus with our Parish Priest, Father Joe, in which he expressed the endless love of Jesus.
