Welcome to St Nicholas of Myra, Penrith

St Nicholas of Myra Primary is a small Catholic learning community catering for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6 in the parish of Penrith.

At St Nicholas of Myra our five core values that underpin all that we do are Compassion, Cooperation, Responsibility, Respect and Justice. We believe that these gospel values are essential for our school to be an effective place of quality learning for each student.

Our teaching and learning environment is enhanced by our commitment to team teaching and team planning. At St Nicholas of Myra we believe that teaching and learning should be purposeful and fun, and enable children to make meaningful connections.

Our role as educators is to provide foundations for students to participate effectively in workplaces and communities of the future.

  • Stage 2 Geography Excursion

    Stage 2 students completed a fieldwork excursion for Geography meeting our learning intention of understanding how people interact with the Nepean River.
  • Sydney Writers Festival

    St Nicholas primary students attended the Sydney Writers Festival meeting authors Jon Klassen, Liz Pichon, Tohby Riddle and Judith Rossell.
  • ANZAC Day Liturgy

    Stage 2 led the 2016 ANZAC liturgy. Students were very respectful and emotional commemorating those who sacrificed themselves so we can have a better future. Lest we Forget.
Hidden UpdatePanel, which is used to help with saving state when minimizing, moving and closing docks. This way the docks state is saved faster (no need to update the docking zones).
