Welcome to St Nicholas of Myra, Penrith

St Nicholas of Myra Primary is a small Catholic learning community catering for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6 in the parish of Penrith.

At St Nicholas of Myra our five core values that underpin all that we do are Compassion, Cooperation, Responsibility, Respect and Justice. We believe that these gospel values are essential for our school to be an effective place of quality learning for each student.

Our teaching and learning environment is enhanced by our commitment to team teaching and team planning. At St Nicholas of Myra we believe that teaching and learning should be purposeful and fun, and enable children to make meaningful connections.

  • End of Term Assembly

    8/4/2016
    St Nicholas students and parents attended the end of term assembly, reinforcing our core values of compassion, co-operation, responsibility, respect and justice as well recognising students who have achieved in their learning in term 1.
  • Stations of the Cross

    We gathered together as a school community to remember and reflect on the Stations of the Cross, preparing ourselves for the resurrection of Jesus.
  • Cross Country

    23/3/2016
    Students competed in the school cross country for the opportunity to represent St Nicholas at the diocesan cross country. The students did a fantastic job with the most impressive part being the encouragement they showed towards each other when completing the course.
