Welcome to St Nicholas of Myra, Penrith

St Nicholas of Myra Primary is a small Catholic learning community catering for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6 in the parish of Penrith.

At St Nicholas of Myra the five core values that underpin all that we do are Compassion, Cooperation, Responsibility, Respect and Justice. We believe that these Gospel values are essential for our school to be an effective place of quality learning for each student.

Our teaching and learning environment is enhanced by our commitment to collaborative teaching and team planning. At St Nicholas of Myra, we believe that teaching and learning should be purposeful and fun, and enable children to make meaningful connections.

Our role as educators is to provide foundations for our students to participate effectively in workplaces and communities of the future.

  • 2017 Swimming Carnival

    Students participated in the 2017 swimming carnival. Activities range form competitive races to novelty events. Congratulations to our Boys and Girls age champions and runner's up, Liam, Brayden, Ella and Talya.
  • 2017 Awards Assembly

    The community gathered to celebrated to successes of the students in 2017. Students were recognised for Academic Achievement, Outstanding effort, Christian Living and Academic Growth.
  • Year 6 Graduation & Mass

    The St Nicholas community celebrated and farewelled the outgoing Year 6 students with a graduation Mass and ceremony.
