2018 Christmas Celebration Concert
On December 6, the feast day of St Nicholas of Myra, over 700 people from our school community gathered for the 2018 Christmas Celebration Concert. This wonderful event included a free barbecue, our annual Christmas raffle and our talented students acting out and singing the Christmas story. The students are to be commended on their amazing costumes, reverent acting and beautiful singing. We even had a surprise visit from the North Pole with Santa and Mrs Claus stopping by to share gifts with the children.
A big thank you to the teachers and parents who assisted before, during after the celebration. An extra thank you to Mike and Outback Steakhouse Penrith for their donation and cooking the barbecue and to Miss Reece for her hours of preparation and rehearsal of the students to make this event one to remember. A wonderful event for a wonderful community.

ππ𧑠Term 3 Learning Highlights ππ𧑠Year 2 learning highlights in Term 3 included some English, History and Science. In History and English, Year 2 combined their reading and writing using the text 'My Place' by Nadia Wheatley. They completed a project where they needed to draft, edit and publish their own version of my place for their context. In Science, they also enjoyed designing and creating rockets out of recycled materials for their 'Earth and Space' unit. ππ𧑠Term 3 Learning Highlights ππ𧑠Kindergarten worked hard in Science in Term 3 completing a Design and Make where they were challenged to create a toy out of recycled materials. The students not only focused on the Science, but developed their problem solving and creativity by being challenged and persisting through problems. We can not wait to see the amazing learning of Kindergarten in Term 4!

Years 5 & 6 (2026): Eligible to nominate for all sports when they open. Year 4 (2026): Eligible to nominate for Basketball, Hockey, Softball, Tennis & Touch Football only. βοΈ Sacrament of Reconciliation Celebration βοΈ We joyfully celebrate with the 12 students from St Nicholas who recently received the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time on Tuesday night. This special occasion was made even more meaningful by the presence of 7 priests from the diocese, who gathered to celebrate the liturgy and support these young people on their faith journey. It was a beautiful witness to see so many friends and family members in attendance, offering their love and encouragement. Moments like these remind us of the strength and unity of our faith community. Please continue to keep these students in your prayers as they grow in their relationship with God.
