πŸ’™πŸ§‘πŸ’œ Term 3 Learning Highlights πŸ’™πŸ§‘πŸ’œ Stage 2 learning highlights in Term 3 included a wonderful day at the Australian Museum. The students were able to view many of the exhibits and were especially interested to see the 'Minerals' exhibit with many different gems and rocks on display. The students also loved exploring the 'Dinosaur' exhibit and were amazed at how giant the prehistoric creatures were that roamed the earth many years ago. In the 'Wild Planet' exhibit, the museum staff talked with the students all about animals and their specific features, using hands on resources such as the preserved skin of an emu's leg, the shell of a turtle, a spike from an echidna and a giant feather from a bird. The students all really enjoyed seeing and touching the features. We look forward to more amazing Stage 2 learning in Term 4!
