In Term 4, Stage 2 is lucky enough to be working with a professional author in Term 4 once a week with the company WestWords

The project will be running for the first 5 weeks of the term and has already started off with a bang! The students are working hard on the way they craft stories, different features of texts, and getting feedback from a professional author. In the weeks to come, they will also have an opportunity to be working alongside a professional Illustrator. We look forward to seeing the student’s creative writing develop and to the students’ turning into authors.

✝️🏀⛹️‍♂️ 🌭Father’s Day Celebration 🌭⛹️‍♂️🏀✝️ Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Father’s Day liturgy, BBQ breakfast, and games morning. It was wonderful to see our students celebrating this special occasion with their families. Our Gospel reading this morning—the Parable of the Prodigal Son—reminded us of the importance of forgiveness, love, and second chances within our families and school community. As we continue through the Year of Hope, this message encourages us to embrace compassion and connection in all our relationships. We wish all our fathers and father figures a very happy Father’s Day this Sunday. May your day be filled with love, appreciation, and joy.
