Nagle College Launches New STEM Scholarship for Future Innovators
Nagle College Blacktown has announced the launch of the “Christine Howe STEM Academic Scholarship”, a new opportunity designed to support and inspire young women passionate about STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Students enrolling in Year 7 from 2026 are eligible to apply for the scholarship, which reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to excellence in learning within a supportive Catholic community.

🎉💦 St Nicholas of Myra Colour Water Fun Day! 💦🎉 We’re excited to announce our major fundraiser of the year — the Colour Water Fun Day on Wednesday 17th December, from 9:30am to 1pm! 🌈 This year, we’re aiming to raise $10,000 to improve our playground by upgrading our shade shelters and basketball court. 🏀🌤️ 👕 What to Wear: WHITE shirt (perfect for colour fun!) Closed-in shoes Any colour shorts Bring a change of clothes for after the event 🧢 What’s Included: Each student will receive a white hat to wear on the day Expect to be covered in non-toxic, biodegradable colour powder and foam Plus — plenty of water fun throughout the day! 💦 (Safety data sheets for Colour and Foam available upon request.) 🎁 Prizes & Raffles: Every $10 raised earns a raffle entry for fantastic prizes! Special rewards like Mufti Day, Games or Movie Afternoon, and a Pizza Day 🍕🎬 await the Stage that raises the most! 🏆 Raffle drawn at Monday morning assembly, 8th December 🎉 Stage prizes held on Tuesday 16th December 💰 How to Fundraise: Ask family and friends to sponsor your child via Qkr! 🌟 NSWPSSA Athletics Championships 🌟 Huge congratulations to Liam who competed at the NSWPSSA Athletics Championships! 🏃♂️💪 Liam achieved 5th place in Discus (with a new personal best! 🎯) and 9th place in Shot Put, competing against the very best athletes in NSW. To finish within the top ten in the state is an exceptional accomplishment, and we are extremely proud of his dedication, effort, and sportsmanship. 👏🎉
