Students are invited to wear orange or cultural dress to school to celebrate the rich diversity within our community. Harmony Day is an opportunity for us to recognise and honour the many cultures, backgrounds and traditions that shape who we are. It reminds us of the importance of respect, inclusion and belonging for everyone. π𧑠Please note: All students must still wear enclosed shoes and bring their hats.

π£ Easter Egg Donations & Raffle π« Our St Nicholas of Myra School Easter Raffle will be drawn on Monday 30 March at 2:00pm during our Easter Hat Parade. We warmly invite families to support this event by donating Easter items between now and Friday 20 March. We understand that the cost of living has increased and that Easter eggs can sometimes be expensive. Families are very welcome to donate alternative items such as: π« Blocks of chocolate ποΈ Easter colouring books or pencils π§Έ Easter soft toys π£ Easter eggs or other treats Please place donations in a bag and drop them into the Stage-labelled baskets at the student gate. ποΈ Raffle tickets are available now via the Qkr! app: β’ 3 tickets for $2 β’ 1 book (10 tickets) for $5 Thank you for helping make this a fun and festive event for our school community! πΈ

π Year 6 Intergenerational Program π Today our second group of Year 6 students visited The Royce as part of our wonderful Intergenerational Program. On the agenda today was decorating cupcakes with a St Patrickβs Day theme ππ§. Students enjoyed spending time with the residents, listening to their stories and learning from the wisdom of our elders. We were also lucky enough to meet the man behind the name, with students having the opportunity to meet Penrith legend Royce Simmons. A special experience for our students and a beautiful reminder of the value of connection across generations. π

This fantastic result means Charlotte has qualified for the 2026 Mackillop State Swimming Carnival. An outstanding achievement! πββοΈSchool Cross Country πββοΈ Today our St Nicholas of Myra Primary School students braved the hot and humid conditions to complete the 2026 School Cross Country. We were incredibly proud of the determination shown by all students as they challenged themselves and persevered throughout their races. The spirit of the day was outstanding, with students cheering each other on and encouraging their peers right to the finish line. It was wonderful to see such strong school pride and support for one another. A big thank you to our amazing teachers for organising the event and to our parent helpers for their support in making the day such a success. π Lots of photos to come πΈ

βΌοΈ 2026 Cross Country- Reminder βΌοΈ Our 2026 Cross Country will be held on Thursday 5 March. Races will begin at approximately 9:15am and conclude around 11:00am. All students are to wear their sports uniform, including appropriate running shoes and a hat. We also encourage students to bring a water bottle. Our Infants students will participate in a fun run led by their teachers throughout the day. We look forward to a wonderful morning of participation, encouragement and school spirit.
