πΆ Musica Viva Australia at St Nicholas of Myra πΆ St Nicholas of Myra students enjoyed a powerful and engaging performance titled Lost Histories by musician and composer Troy, alongside violinist Susie and vocalist Leila. Through music, storytelling and reflection, students explored Troy's connection to history, culture and place. The performance encouraged students to think deeply about their own stories, identities and connections to the world around them. Students enthusiastically sang along to songs they had been learning in Music with Mrs Clarke, making the experience even more meaningful and interactive. The enthusiasm, participation and thoughtful engagement shown by our students throughout the performance were outstanding. A heartfelt thank you to Troy, Susie and Leila for sharing your talents, stories and passion with our St Nicholas of Myra community. We had so much fun learning with you and were inspired by the experience.03 Jun 2026

π€π Pyjama Day for the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal π€π Today, the students and staff of St Nicholas of Myra came to school in their pyjamas to support the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal. As the winter months approach, many individuals and families in our community will face challenges meeting their basic needs. As a Catholic school community, we are called to care for those who are most vulnerable and to put our faith into action through acts of kindness, generosity and service. "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done." β Proverbs 19:17 Thank you to our families for your generous donations and support. Together, we are helping to bring warmth, hope and dignity to those in need this winter. β€οΈπ
