SESSION 2 - 2026 Parramatta Diocesan Team Sport Trials are OPEN! π’ OPEN NOW (Term 4, 2025): AFL - Boys & Girls Team Football (Soccer) - Boys & Girls Team Hockey - Boys & Girls Team Netball - Girls Team Rugby League - U12 Boys & Girls Team Rugby Union - Boys Team Softball - Boys & Girls Team Touch Football - Boys & Girls Team Please note: Basketball, Cricket, and Tennis nominations are closed. π’ OPENING Monday 1st December 2025: βοΈWho Can Nominate? Years 5 & 6 (2026): Eligible to nominate for all sports when they open. Year 4 (2026): Eligible to nominate for Hockey, Softball & Touch Football only. Eligibility & Requirements β Trials are for students who can demonstrate: - Above average ability - High level of skill development - Representative playing experience applicable for some sports - Regular competition experience outside of school (preferred) β To be eligible: The 2026 CSPD Primary Sport TEAM Registration Form must be completed. π 2026 Student Leaders! π Our Year 4 and 5 students participated in the L.E.A.D. with Courageβ’: Stage 3 Leaderβs Program, through Explore Discover Act, is a journey that supports personal growth and shared leadership. Through experiential learning and guided reflection, students were encouraged to listen, engage, align and make a difference as they step into leadership at St Nicholas of Myra. We are proud of our students for embracing these leadership qualities and preparing to serve our school community with courage, commitment and heart in 2026.

βοΈ β¨ Faith in Action β¨ βοΈ Today, some of our wonderful Stage 3 leaders set up a special treat for the St Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, Penrith NSW parishioners after the Friday midday Mass. Building strong connections between our school and parish community is so important, and our students were proud to play their part. We also wish a very Happy Birthday to Father Rojan! May God continue to bless him in his ministry and in the year ahead.

π Year 6 Fun Day! π Our Year 6 students celebrated their time at St Nicholas of Myra with an action-packed Fun Day led by Motiv8! There were sponges, water, paint, powder and plenty of colour as students enjoyed time together with their friends and teachers before the formal end-of-year celebrations begin.
