2018 Christmas Celebration Concert
On December 6, the feast day of St Nicholas of Myra, over 700 people from our school community gathered for the 2018 Christmas Celebration Concert. This wonderful event included a free barbecue, our annual Christmas raffle and our talented students acting out and singing the Christmas story. The students are to be commended on their amazing costumes, reverent acting and beautiful singing. We even had a surprise visit from the North Pole with Santa and Mrs Claus stopping by to share gifts with the children.
A big thank you to the teachers and parents who assisted before, during after the celebration. An extra thank you to Mike and Outback Steakhouse Penrith for their donation and cooking the barbecue and to Miss Reece for her hours of preparation and rehearsal of the students to make this event one to remember. A wonderful event for a wonderful community.

π CAPTIVATE Penrith Primary Drama Ensemble β End-of-Year Performance π This afternoon Mrs Clarke and Miss Reynolds had the pleasure to watch the CAPTIVATE - Penrith Primary Drama After School Ensemble - End of Year Performance. These students have been participating every Tuesday afternoon all year. They had the opportunity to watch these talented students to put into practice all they have learned this year in front of an audience. The girls did an amazing job with learning their lines, acting and performing! We believe we have some future actresses on our hands! Well done girls. β¨π

Years 5 & 6 (2026): Eligible to nominate for all sports when they open. Year 4 (2026): Eligible to nominate for Hockey, Softball & Touch Football only. π 2026 Student Leaders! π Our Year 4 and 5 students participated in the L.E.A.D. with Courageβ’: Stage 3 Leaderβs Program, through Explore Discover Act, is a journey that supports personal growth and shared leadership. Through experiential learning and guided reflection, students were encouraged to listen, engage, align and make a difference as they step into leadership at St Nicholas of Myra. βοΈ β¨ Faith in Action β¨ βοΈ Today, some of our wonderful Stage 3 leaders set up a special treat for the St Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, Penrith NSW parishioners after the Friday midday Mass. Building strong connections between our school and parish community is so important, and our students were proud to play their part. We also wish a very Happy Birthday to Father Rojan! There were sponges, water, paint, powder and plenty of colour as students enjoyed time together with their friends and teachers before the formal end-of-year celebrations begin.
