2018 Christmas Celebration Concert
On December 6, the feast day of St Nicholas of Myra, over 700 people from our school community gathered for the 2018 Christmas Celebration Concert. This wonderful event included a free barbecue, our annual Christmas raffle and our talented students acting out and singing the Christmas story. The students are to be commended on their amazing costumes, reverent acting and beautiful singing. We even had a surprise visit from the North Pole with Santa and Mrs Claus stopping by to share gifts with the children.
A big thank you to the teachers and parents who assisted before, during after the celebration. An extra thank you to Mike and Outback Steakhouse Penrith for their donation and cooking the barbecue and to Miss Reece for her hours of preparation and rehearsal of the students to make this event one to remember. A wonderful event for a wonderful community.

Alleluia! Christ is risen! Easter Sunday is the heart of our faith, celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus and His victory over sin and death. On this Good Friday, we pause as a Catholic community to remember the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ. Today is a sacred and solemn day in our Catholic tradition. A time to reflect on the depth of Christ’s love, shown through His ultimate sacrifice on the Cross. Through His suffering, we are reminded of the power of selfless love, mercy, and forgiveness. As a school community, we are invited to enter into this moment with reverence and prayer, giving thanks for the gift of salvation and reflecting on how we can live out Christ’s example in our own lives, through kindness, compassion, and service to others. May this day be one of quiet reflection and hope, as we journey together towards the joy of Easter. ✝️

Each year, our Stage 3 students are entrusted with the responsibility of portraying the events of Holy Week and the Stations of the Cross. Through their reverent and powerful enactment, they bring the story of Christ’s passion to life in a way that leaves us breathless, deepening our understanding and strengthening our faith. We thank our Stage 3 students for the way they lead our school community with such faith, courage, and respect. Through their witness, they remind us of the true meaning of sacrifice, love, and hope, inspiring us all to walk more closely with Jesus.

✝️ Holy Week Liturgy ✝️ As Catholics, Holy Week is the most sacred time of our year. A time to reflect on the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Today, St Nicholas of Myra students led a reverent and prayerful liturgy, guiding us through the journey of Jesus from Palm Sunday, to the Last Supper on Holy Thursday, and the sacrifice of Good Friday. “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” (Luke 23:46) Through this powerful retelling, our students brought to life the heart of our Catholic faith—walking with Christ in love, sacrifice, and hope. They reminded us that we are called to be people of faith who serve others, show compassion, and live the Gospel each day. As we now wait in hope and anticipation, we prepare our hearts for the joy of the risen Jesus, celebrating the promise of new life and the enduring light of Easter.

🏊♀️Swimming Success 🏊♀️ Yesterday, Charlotte competed at the NSWCPS Swimming Championships and delivered an outstanding performance. She finished 10th overall, achieving an incredible personal best and smashing her qualifying time by over 2 seconds. Charlotte showed great confidence and truly stepped up on the big stage.
