2018 Christmas Celebration Concert
On December 6, the feast day of St Nicholas of Myra, over 700 people from our school community gathered for the 2018 Christmas Celebration Concert. This wonderful event included a free barbecue, our annual Christmas raffle and our talented students acting out and singing the Christmas story. The students are to be commended on their amazing costumes, reverent acting and beautiful singing. We even had a surprise visit from the North Pole with Santa and Mrs Claus stopping by to share gifts with the children.
A big thank you to the teachers and parents who assisted before, during after the celebration. An extra thank you to Mike and Outback Steakhouse Penrith for their donation and cooking the barbecue and to Miss Reece for her hours of preparation and rehearsal of the students to make this event one to remember. A wonderful event for a wonderful community.

And that’s a wrap! 🎉 Our 2026 Stage 3 Camp was packed with adventure from start to finish. A huge thank you to Teen Ranch and their incredible staff for providing such an amazing experience. To our dedicated St Nick’s teachers, thank you for ensuring every student was safe, supported and had the time of their lives. We truly couldn’t do it without you. Stage 3 Camp – One Last Adventure 🏕️💪 Stage 3 students set out for one final activity session at camp. Group 1 conquered the rock climbing wall, while Group 2 quite literally swung their fears away on the giant swing! We are incredibly proud of every student for facing their fears, pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones, and taking on each challenge head on. What a fantastic way to finish an unforgettable camp experience! 🌟

✝️ Stage 3 Camp – Prayer & Reflection 🙏 This morning we paused from our activities to spend time in prayer and reflection, giving thanks for the wonderful opportunity we have shared over the past few days. Stage 3 Camp – Free Time Fun 🏀🏐 Free time was well spent with students choosing from basketball, beach volleyball, table tennis and handball, while others enjoyed the chance to sit, relax and chat with friends. A great balance of activity, laughter and connection to round out the day!

Stage 3 Camp – Afternoon Adventures 🎯🌬️ This afternoon, Group 1 took on the GIANT swing (with almost no screaming 😄), while Group 2 showed great focus and skill at archery, taking aim and hitting their targets. Everyone is now enjoying some free time as the storm passes, recharging before dinner and an exciting night of games ahead!

🎒🌿 Stage 3 Camp Update! 🌿🎯 Our Stage 3 students are having an amazing time at camp! Group 1 enjoyed learning archery skills and had a blast aiming for (and hitting!) the targets 🎯, while Group 2 cooled off with plenty of fun during water and pool games 💦🏊♂️ Lots of smiles, teamwork and new challenges—what a fantastic start to camp!

⏰📅 Term 1 | Week 3 Weekly Update ⏰📅 It’s an action-packed week ahead at St Nicholas of Myra! Our Stage 3 students head off to Camp on Monday and Tuesday, where they will challenge themselves, build resilience and strengthen friendships. On Friday, we come together as a community for our Opening School Mass, the induction of our 2026 Student Leaders, and our Welcome Picnic, a special day celebrating faith, leadership and belonging. 👕 Uniform reminder: All students are asked to wear full summer uniform on Friday 13 February for this major school event. We look forward to a wonderful week ahead, filled with faith, learning and community.
