2018 Kindergarten Billycart Incursion
On Friday 16 November 2018, Kindergarten students took part in a Billycart Incursion as part of their Science and Technology unit 'On the Move'. Students took part in building their own billycarts by working in teams, determining how to make the carts safe using bolts and washers, and figuring out how to steer their billycarts through a course. A great afternoon for students and their invited families.

π𧦠Our Faith in Action β Socktober! π§¦π Socktober is a powerful way to bring communities together during Mission Month to support children in need around the world. Today, our St Nicholas of Myra students proudly wore their crazy socks and made donations in support of Mission Month! π Students also participated in Religious Education activities to deepen their understanding of the lives and experiences of children in different parts of the world, building empathy, awareness and a sense of global responsibility. We also came together for a fun soccer match between students and teachers! β½ It was a wonderful opportunity to share some laughs, build connections and strengthen our sense of community while supporting an important cause. Through these activities, we are reminded that our faith calls us to look beyond ourselves, recognise the dignity of every person and take action to make a difference in the lives of others. By learning about the challenges faced by children around the world, our students are encouraged to live out the Gospel values of Faith, Love and Service. π βWhoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord.β β Proverbs 19:17 May we continue to put our faith into action by showing compassion, sharing what we have and standing alongside those most in need. β€οΈπ
