2018 Parent Helper Breakfast
On Wednesday, 12 December, staff and parents gathered for the 2018 Parent Helper Breakfast. This breakfast is a small way to say thank you to the parents and carers who assist during the school year including covering library books, assisting in the canteen, assisting in events such as discos, barbecues and concerts as well as helping coach students in a range of sporting gala days.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated and valued by the entire school community. Every helping hand, not matter how small, helps our students to be safe, respectful learners.

Today we welcomed St Finbar’s and St Matthew’s for the third year of the Simmons Collective Challenge! Stage 2 and 3 students from all schools participated in three exciting and engaging challenges throughout the day. First, students worked in teams to build the tallest tower they could using only marshmallows and pasta. Next, they tackled a series of challenging quiz questions that tested their teamwork and critical thinking skills. Finally, they used Indi cars to navigate creative pathways based on challenge cards — a fun and tech-inspired way to wrap up the day! All students showed fantastic resilience, collaboration, and school spirit. Congratulations to St Finbar’s, who were the overall winners this year!![176022598337143_799392966000100-1]()

💛Year 6 Visit to The Royce 💛 Today, our Year 6 students visited The Royce to take part in R U OK? Day activities. They enjoyed a creative craft session, making a beautiful gratitude tree 🌳, where they reflected on what they're thankful for. The students also had fun with a guessing competition, and the highlight for many was meeting Bowie the dog! 🐶💛 A big thank you to The Royce for hosting such a meaningful day focused on connection, kindness, and wellbeing.

✝️🏀⛹️♂️ 🌭Father’s Day Celebration 🌭⛹️♂️🏀✝️ Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Father’s Day liturgy, BBQ breakfast, and games morning. It was wonderful to see our students celebrating this special occasion with their families. Our Gospel reading this morning—the Parable of the Prodigal Son—reminded us of the importance of forgiveness, love, and second chances within our families and school community. The afternoon was filled with light refreshments, laughter, and a few lively games of bingo! 🏛️ Stage 2 Excursion 🏛️ Stage 2 students enjoyed a wonderful day at the Australian Museum. They were able to explore a range of exhibits and completed sessions about animals features where they were given a feature and they had to go and find the animal in the museum. A fun filled day with lots of valuable hands on learning.
