2018 Parent Helper Breakfast
On Wednesday, 12 December, staff and parents gathered for the 2018 Parent Helper Breakfast. This breakfast is a small way to say thank you to the parents and carers who assist during the school year including covering library books, assisting in the canteen, assisting in events such as discos, barbecues and concerts as well as helping coach students in a range of sporting gala days.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated and valued by the entire school community. Every helping hand, not matter how small, helps our students to be safe, respectful learners.

ππ𧑠Farewell Mr Vane-Tempest ππ𧑠Last week, the St Nicholas of Myra community gathered to celebrate the retirement of Mr Tim Vane-Tempest. Mr Vane-Tempest has been known for his insistent, consistent, persistent and predictable approachβqualities that have provided clarity, stability and direction for students, staff and families alike. His clear expectations, steady guidance and trust in people have helped shape the positive culture we enjoy today. Our community sincerely thanks Tim for his strong leadership, compassion and care for his staff, engagement and expertise with the parents, and most of all, his genuine commitment and passion to ensure that every student is supported to learn, grow and thrive. As he moves into retirement, we hope he enjoys many peaceful days fishing and spending cherished time with his wife Christine and their family. On behalf of the school and Parish community, we wish him every blessing for a fulfilling and well-deserved retirement.
