Students and their families have recently taken part in four session to welcome the newest members of the St Nicholas of Myra community
The sessions included demonstrations of learning at St Nicholas, classroom walkthroughs, students and parent speakers, numerous information sessions from experts such as nutritionist, school banking, road safety experts, and occupational therapists.
The sessions culminated with a moving Liturgy with the 2018 and 2019 Kindergarten students.
We can't wait for out newest member to begin in 2019!

πYear 6 Royce Visit π Throughout the year, our Year 6 students have been visiting the residents of The Royce Retirement Village as part of their outreach, building relationships and learning from the wisdom and life experiences of others. Today, our Year 6 students shared the joy of Christmas by singing carols and gifting the residents handmade Christmas cards and decorations. This beautiful act of service reflects our Catholic faith in action, living out Christβs call to love, serve, and bring joy to others. A meaningful reminder of the true spirit of Christmas; compassion, connection, community and the love of Christ. βοΈ

πYear 6 Social Night π Our Year 6 students celebrated together with their teachers at a fantastic Year 6 Social Evening. The night was filled with fun dancing, plenty of food, and some friendly (and competitive!) soccer and basketball games against the teachers. It was the perfect way to cap off a big week for Year 6, finishing with their graduation cupcakes and a beautiful video reflection of their time at St Nicholas of Myra.
