2019 Panthers Adopt a School
Once again in 2019, St Nicholas of Myra is taking part in the Panthers Adopt a School program. Players from the first grade squad will visit students six times this year. Students get the opportunity to share their learning with the players, get autographs and ask some questions about what it is like to play in the National Rugby League.
This week, Penrith Panthers players, Billy Burns, Hame Sele and James Fisher- Harris, visited Stage 3 students. Students shared their imaginative writing with the players and also had a chance ask some questions and get some autographs.

We were thrilled to welcome Jackie from One Giant Leap Australia Foundation, who inspired students to dream big and explore future pathways in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). π€π¬ A definite highlight of the day was the robot dog, who quickly became a crowd favourite as it followed Miss Reynolds and made its way around each classroom! πβπ¦Ίπ‘ In the afternoon, students were amazed by a visit from the Planetarium, stepping inside the dome to experience the Solar System in stunning detail. It truly felt like travelling through space! ππͺ To make the day even more special, students and staff embraced the theme by dressing up in their best space-inspired outfits ππ©βππ½ A fantastic day filled with curiosity, excitement, and learning as we continue to inspire our future scientists! π01 May 2026
