2019 Stage 3 Leadership Day
Year 4 and 5 students took part in the 2019 Stage 3 Leadership Day. Students worked in teams to problem solve through a range of tasks with a focus on the skills needed to be active leaders at St Nicholas in 2019. The day consisted of a range of fun activities where students focused on the skills of communicating, teamwork and problem solving. A great experience and we look forward to our 2019 Stage 3 students leading the school to be safe, respectful learners.

🍪 Vote for the Kindergarten Christmas Door! 🍪 We’ve baked a batch of smart cookies today, Clever little Kinder Gingerbreads ready to play. From the oven they hopped with a cheeky grin, “Catch us if you can!” and the fun began again. They bolted past classrooms, quick as a breeze, Scooting like roos through the tall gum trees. And when they reached Kindy’s colourful door, They cheered at the gingerbread fun on the floor. So don’t forget to vote for Kindergarten—our door’s the best, And well… it’s really not a contest! 🎄✨

🎄✨ St Nicholas of Myra Christmas Door Challenge ✨🎄 “’Twas the weeks before Christmas at St Nicholas of Myra, The classrooms were sparkling, and excitement grew higher! Our Christmas Door Challenge brought joy to the hall— A festive tradition that’s fun for us all. The St Nick’s Express carried letters with cheer, To jolly old St Nick, our favourite time of year. Kindergarten built gingerbread houses so sweet, Year 1’s Holly Jolly door couldn’t be beat. Stage 2’s Lolly Shop was a sugary sight, And Stage 3 took an Elfie—oh, what a delight! Snoopy’s door brought giggles and fun, With every class shining proudly once each door was done. Our “Come Let Us Adore Him” door glowed with joy and light, A reminder of Jesus, our hope burning bright. And the Etymology Door taught something more, Sharing meanings and messages behind all the décor. Santa checked the staff- were they naughty or nice? And beware of Mrs Grinch with her mean ol’ spice! 🎭 CAPTIVATE Penrith Primary Drama Ensemble – End-of-Year Performance 🎭 This afternoon Mrs Clarke and Miss Reynolds had the pleasure to watch the CAPTIVATE - Penrith Primary Drama After School Ensemble - End of Year Performance. These students have been participating every Tuesday afternoon all year. They had the opportunity to watch these talented students to put into practice all they have learned this year in front of an audience. The girls did an amazing job with learning their lines, acting and performing! We believe we have some future actresses on our hands! Well done girls. ✨🌟

SESSION 2 - 2026 Parramatta Diocesan Team Sport Trials are OPEN! 📢 OPEN NOW (Term 4, 2025): AFL - Boys & Girls Team Football (Soccer) - Boys & Girls Team Hockey - Boys & Girls Team Netball - Girls Team Rugby League - U12 Boys & Girls Team Rugby Union - Boys Team Softball - Boys & Girls Team Touch Football - Boys & Girls Team Please note: Basketball, Cricket, and Tennis nominations are closed. 📢 OPENING Monday 1st December 2025: ✍️Who Can Nominate? Years 5 & 6 (2026): Eligible to nominate for all sports when they open. Year 4 (2026): Eligible to nominate for Hockey, Softball & Touch Football only. Eligibility & Requirements ✅ Trials are for students who can demonstrate: - Above average ability - High level of skill development - Representative playing experience applicable for some sports - Regular competition experience outside of school (preferred) ✅ To be eligible: The 2026 CSPD Primary Sport TEAM Registration Form must be completed.
