2019 Stage 3 Leadership Day
Year 4 and 5 students took part in the 2019 Stage 3 Leadership Day. Students worked in teams to problem solve through a range of tasks with a focus on the skills needed to be active leaders at St Nicholas in 2019. The day consisted of a range of fun activities where students focused on the skills of communicating, teamwork and problem solving. A great experience and we look forward to our 2019 Stage 3 students leading the school to be safe, respectful learners.

✝️ Holy Week Liturgy ✝️ As Catholics, Holy Week is the most sacred time of our year. A time to reflect on the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Today, St Nicholas of Myra students led a reverent and prayerful liturgy, guiding us through the journey of Jesus from Palm Sunday, to the Last Supper on Holy Thursday, and the sacrifice of Good Friday. “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” (Luke 23:46) Through this powerful retelling, our students brought to life the heart of our Catholic faith—walking with Christ in love, sacrifice, and hope. They reminded us that we are called to be people of faith who serve others, show compassion, and live the Gospel each day. As we now wait in hope and anticipation, we prepare our hearts for the joy of the risen Jesus, celebrating the promise of new life and the enduring light of Easter.

🏊♀️Swimming Success 🏊♀️ Yesterday, Charlotte competed at the NSWCPS Swimming Championships and delivered an outstanding performance. She finished 10th overall, achieving an incredible personal best and smashing her qualifying time by over 2 seconds. Charlotte showed great confidence and truly stepped up on the big stage. Your school community is extremely proud of you—keep working hard and always striving to do your very best!

2026 ANZAC School Service Today, our Stage 3 students attended the ANZAC School Service at Penrith Showground, joining schools from across the region to honour and remember those who have served our country. We are incredibly proud of our school leaders, Olivia and Isabella, who laid a wreath on behalf of our community with respect and dignity. “They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.” Lest We Forget.
