2019 Stage 3 Leadership Day
Year 4 and 5 students took part in the 2019 Stage 3 Leadership Day. Students worked in teams to problem solve through a range of tasks with a focus on the skills needed to be active leaders at St Nicholas in 2019. The day consisted of a range of fun activities where students focused on the skills of communicating, teamwork and problem solving. A great experience and we look forward to our 2019 Stage 3 students leading the school to be safe, respectful learners.

π Simmons Collective Challenge Day π Students from St Nicholas of Myra Primary Penrith, St Matthew's Catholic Primary, Windsor St Finbar's Primary, Glenbrook and St Monica's Primary School Richmond came together for our annual Simmons Collective Challenge Day! Students from Stages 2 and 3 pushed themselves outside their comfort zones as they tackled a range of exciting challenges involving coding, STEM activities, computational thinking and mathematical problem-solving. It was a fantastic opportunity to challenge our learning, meet new friends and work collaboratively with students from across our schools. The best part of the day was seeing the incredible support, encouragement and teamwork shown by students across all four schools. It was wonderful to see everyone cheering each other on, celebrating success and working together to overcome each challenge. What a fun and inspiring day of learning, problem-solving and collaboration!09 Sep 2026

ππ FATHERβS DAY STALL ππ Today at St Nicholas of Myra, our students had the opportunity to visit our Fatherβs Day Stall and choose a special gift as a little βThank Youβ for the fathers, grandfathers and other important men in their lives. It was wonderful to see the excitement on the studentsβ faces as they carefully chose something special to take home. A huge THANK YOU to our wonderful staff who worked behind the scenes to organise the stall and to our amazing parent helpers who generously gave their time to help our students throughout the day. Your support makes these special experiences possible! And the Fatherβs Day celebrations continue! We look forward to welcoming our dads, grandfathers and special men to our Fatherβs Day Breakfast and Liturgy tomorrow morning from 7:30β8:30am. We canβt wait to celebrate with you!

ππ₯ SPELLING BEE SUPERSTARS! π₯π What an AMAZING achievement for our St Nicholas of Myra students! πβ¨ Recently, our Stage 2 and Stage 3 students put their spelling skills to the test in the Prime Ministers Spelling Bee and we are incredibly proud of their efforts! ππ Three spelling superstars achieved OUTSTANDING results and progressed through to the NSW State Finals where they did exceptionally well πππ Their success is a wonderful reflection of their hard work, determination, confidence and love of learning. ππ Liam β CSPD Senior Boys Champion! ππ What an incredible performance from Liam at the 2026 CSPD Athletics Carnival! Competing against the best young athletes from across the Diocese, Liam produced an outstanding display of talent, determination and consistency. π₯ 1st Place β Discus π₯ 1st Place β Shot Put π₯ 1st Place β 100m π₯ 1st Place β 200m Four events. Four victories! ππππ These incredible results saw Liam crowned the 2026 CSPD Senior Boys Champion! π We are incredibly proud of Liam and the way he represented St Nicholas of Myra, demonstrating not only outstanding athletic ability but also fantastic sportsmanship and a commitment to giving his best. π Malakaiβs Athletics Success! π What an outstanding performance from Malakai at the 2026 CSPD Athletics Carnival! πͺ Malakai showed incredible determination, focus and sportsmanship. π₯ Shot Put: Malakai recorded a fantastic personal best, before finishing 4th overall in a highly competitive field!
