2019 Stage 3 Leadership Day
Year 4 and 5 students took part in the 2019 Stage 3 Leadership Day. Students worked in teams to problem solve through a range of tasks with a focus on the skills needed to be active leaders at St Nicholas in 2019. The day consisted of a range of fun activities where students focused on the skills of communicating, teamwork and problem solving. A great experience and we look forward to our 2019 Stage 3 students leading the school to be safe, respectful learners.

✨🕊️ Confirmation Celebration ✨🕊️ Congratulations to our St Nicholas of Myra students receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation tonight - Kacey, Alex, Tiegan-Maree, Celine, Vivien, Lyla, Caitlyn, Natania, Lucas, Jake, Auri, Orno, Yethum and Olivia. Confirmation is a special moment in the life of a Catholic. Through this sacrament, students are strengthened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit 🕊️ and are called to live out their faith with courage, love ❤️ and service 🤝. Alleluia! Christ is risen! Easter Sunday is the heart of our faith, celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus and His victory over sin and death. On this Good Friday, we pause as a Catholic community to remember the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ. Today is a sacred and solemn day in our Catholic tradition. A time to reflect on the depth of Christ’s love, shown through His ultimate sacrifice on the Cross. Through His suffering, we are reminded of the power of selfless love, mercy, and forgiveness. As a school community, we are invited to enter into this moment with reverence and prayer, giving thanks for the gift of salvation and reflecting on how we can live out Christ’s example in our own lives, through kindness, compassion, and service to others. May this day be one of quiet reflection and hope, as we journey together towards the joy of Easter. ✝️
