In Term 4, Stage 2 is lucky enough to be working with a professional author in Term 4 once a week with the company WestWords

The project will be running for the first 5 weeks of the term and has already started off with a bang! The students are working hard on the way they craft stories, different features of texts, and getting feedback from a professional author. In the weeks to come, they will also have an opportunity to be working alongside a professional Illustrator. We look forward to seeing the student’s creative writing develop and to the students’ turning into authors.

πŸ’™πŸŽ FATHER’S DAY STALL πŸŽπŸ’™ Today at St Nicholas of Myra, our students had the opportunity to visit our Father’s Day Stall and choose a special gift as a little β€œThank You” for the fathers, grandfathers and other important men in their lives. It was wonderful to see the excitement on the students’ faces as they carefully chose something special to take home. A huge THANK YOU to our wonderful staff who worked behind the scenes to organise the stall and to our amazing parent helpers who generously gave their time to help our students throughout the day. Your support makes these special experiences possible! And the Father’s Day celebrations continue! We look forward to welcoming our dads, grandfathers and special men to our Father’s Day Breakfast and Liturgy tomorrow morning from 7:30–8:30am. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
