In Term 4, Stage 2 is lucky enough to be working with a professional author in Term 4 once a week with the company WestWords

The project will be running for the first 5 weeks of the term and has already started off with a bang! The students are working hard on the way they craft stories, different features of texts, and getting feedback from a professional author. In the weeks to come, they will also have an opportunity to be working alongside a professional Illustrator. We look forward to seeing the student’s creative writing develop and to the students’ turning into authors.

🌏🧑 Harmony Day – Wear Orange or Cultural Dress 🌏🧑 Harmony Day will be celebrated at St Nicholas of Myra on Monday 23 March. Students are invited to wear orange or cultural dress to school to celebrate the rich diversity within our community. Harmony Day is an opportunity for us to recognise and honour the many cultures, backgrounds and traditions that shape who we are. It reminds us of the importance of respect, inclusion and belonging for everyone. 🌏🧑 Please note: All students must still wear enclosed shoes and bring their hats.
