In Term 4, Stage 2 is lucky enough to be working with a professional author in Term 4 once a week with the company WestWords
The project will be running for the first 5 weeks of the term and has already started off with a bang! The students are working hard on the way they craft stories, different features of texts, and getting feedback from a professional author. In the weeks to come, they will also have an opportunity to be working alongside a professional Illustrator. We look forward to seeing the student’s creative writing develop and to the students’ turning into authors.

Our theme was “Together We Learn, Together We Serve” was inspired by Galatians 5:13. It was a beautiful opportunity to come together in faith as we begin a new school year. Father Rojan spoke about the importance of being united in our learning, in service to one another, and in our relationship with God. His message reminded us that we are strongest when we walk together as a community. We look forward to a wonderful 2026 together as a school community. ✨🙏

✨ Opening School Mass, Student Leader Induction & Welcome Picnic ✨ Just a reminder that our Opening School Mass, Student Leader Induction and Welcome Picnic will be held tomorrow, Friday 13th February. 🏅 Student Success 🏅 Last weekend, Liam in Year 6 competed at the Little Athletics Region 6 Carnival, showcasing his talents across a range of events including the 100m, 200m, Discus, Shot Put and Javelin. We are thrilled to share that Liam brought home Bronze medals in Discus, Shot Put and Javelin! What an outstanding achievement! 👏 We are so proud of Liam’s dedication, effort and sportsmanship, and we look forward to celebrating even more athletics success in 2026. Well done, Liam! 🌟

Stage 3 Camp – One Last Adventure 🏕️💪 Stage 3 students set out for one final activity session at camp. Group 1 conquered the rock climbing wall, while Group 2 quite literally swung their fears away on the giant swing! We are incredibly proud of every student for facing their fears, pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones, and taking on each challenge head on. Stage 3 Camp – Free Time Fun 🏀🏐 Free time was well spent with students choosing from basketball, beach volleyball, table tennis and handball, while others enjoyed the chance to sit, relax and chat with friends. A great balance of activity, laughter and connection to round out the day!

Stage 3 Camp – Afternoon Adventures 🎯🌬️ This afternoon, Group 1 took on the GIANT swing (with almost no screaming 😄), while Group 2 showed great focus and skill at archery, taking aim and hitting their targets. Everyone is now enjoying some free time as the storm passes, recharging before dinner and an exciting night of games ahead!

🎒🌿 Stage 3 Camp Update! 🌿🎯 Our Stage 3 students are having an amazing time at camp! Group 1 enjoyed learning archery skills and had a blast aiming for (and hitting!) the targets 🎯, while Group 2 cooled off with plenty of fun during water and pool games 💦🏊♂️ Lots of smiles, teamwork and new challenges—what a fantastic start to camp!
