On Friday 26 June, we will join together as a school community to show our support for the Socceroos as they represent Australia on the world stage. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to come together in a spirit of pride, teamwork, and celebration of Australian sport. To mark the occasion, we will be having a Socceroos Green and Gold Day (splash of colour). Students are encouraged to add a touch of green and gold to their school sports uniform if they wish (for example, a ribbon, socks, scarf, hat, or headband). Please note that all students are still required to wear their full school sports uniform, including closed-in shoes. Let’s come together to cheer on the Socceroos and celebrate Australian spirit! Thank you for your continued support—let’s go Socceroos! 🇦🇺

🌟 Student Success 🌟 A huge congratulations to Georgia, who competed in a Gymnastics New South Wales competition over the weekend and achieved outstanding results! 🥈 2nd Place – Beam 🥈 2nd Place – Vault 🥇 1st Place – Bars 🥇 1st Place – Floor Thanks to these incredible performances, Georgia was awarded the Overall Gold Medal 🏅 for the competition. We are incredibly proud of your hard work, dedication to your sport, and the outstanding sportsmanship you displayed throughout the event. Your commitment and perseverance have certainly paid off. 🌟 Student Success 🌟 A huge congratulations to Leilexii and her cheerleading team, Liberty Allstars Penrith, who achieved an outstanding result at the AASCF Winterfest Cheer & Dance Championships on Saturday 20th June 2026. Leilexii and her teammates proudly took out 1st Place, showcasing incredible teamwork, dedication, skill and spirit throughout the competition. 💙 St Vincent de Paul Certificate of Appreciation 💙 Today, our Faith in Action Team proudly accepted a Certificate of Appreciation from the St Vincent de Paul Society in recognition of the generosity shown by the St Nicholas of Myra School Community. Thank you to all our students, families and staff who contributed winter donations to support those in need within our local community. Your kindness and compassion will help bring warmth and comfort to many people this winter. As our school song reminds us, "We will open up our hearts to show we care." This collection was a wonderful example of our community living out these words through action. Thank you for opening your hearts and making a positive difference in the lives of others. 🏅 Kirby Awards – Week 10 Assembly 🏅 Congratulations to Logan and Sophia, who received their Kirby Awards at our Week 10 Assembly.
